Too Busy for Strategy

Is there anyone who gets in their car and starts driving without figuring out where they want to go first? Or how they’re going to get there? Anyone? Bueller?

Not likely. Reportedly a billion people in 220 countries use Google Maps every month.

So, why do some people give me the excuse that they “don’t have time for strategy; too busy”?

Please, if this is your reason for not figuring out where you want to take your business and how you’re going to get there, I want to hear from you.

If it’s because your past efforts at strategy had no impact, fine. That’s legit. I can fix that.

If it’s because you don’t know how to put an effective strategy in place, got it. I can show you how.

If it’s because you don’t trust your business to big, expensive consulting companies, good. You shouldn’t and I can prove why.

But if it’s because you’re too busy, well, I want to hear from you.

Just tell me. If you’re worried about being embarrassed, tell on behalf of a friend (wink, wink).

And if you’re the kind of person that gets in your car and doesn’t bother figuring out where you’re headed or how to get there, good luck. I’m pretty sure I’ll pass you on my well-planned, GPS mapped route to my pre-selected destination…
